This is a free tool provided "as is". We don't work for WhatsApp, and if WhatsApp updates their website, the extension might temporarily break. We aren't responsible for any lost pins or business disruptions.
How Our Terms Work in Real Scenarios
Scenario: WhatsApp updates its code and the extension breaks
Because our extension relies on reading the structure (DOM) of WhatsApp Web, if Meta decides to completely redesign their website tomorrow, our tool will likely stop working until we push an update. You agree that we are providing this tool on an "as-available" basis.
Scenario: You accidentally clear your browser cache
If you clear your browser cookies and local storage, you will lose your pinned chats setup. Since we don't store your data on our servers (see our Privacy Policy), we cannot recover your pins for you. We are not liable for any data loss.
Scenario: You use this tool for your business
Many users use WA Chat Pinner to manage client conversations. If the extension glitches and you miss a message from an important client, we cannot be held legally or financially responsible for any lost business or damages.

2. License to Use
We grant you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, and non-exclusive license to use the software provided to you as part of the extension. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefit of WA Chat Pinner. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our extension, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WA Chat Pinner and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the extension.
